Voice and breathing exercises with warmups and songs from different traditions and styles, including songs from African and Caribbean origin and in different languages. We will be singing A Capella, for fun, mental health & wellbeing, confidence and community.

Adriana Lord is a multidisciplinary artist, singer/songwriter and workshop leader with a background in medicine, Playback and Spontaneous Theatre.

Adriana has been a founder of several choirs and theatre groups and has many vocal credits including soundtracks, commercials, and albums.

She has performed on radio and TV, including BBC1 and BBC 4, as well as theatres, festivals, and venues across the UK, France, Brazil, and Cuba. She is also the lead singer in Son Guarachando, a Brighton-based Latin band and she co-writes and fronts LoKeBa, an Afro-Cuban/British 10 piece orchestra.

She is one of 13 local creative practitioners selected by Creative Future's FLOURISH 2, a course for Arts for Health & Wellbeing training.
